Most of us realise that we can’t run a ministry to young people on our own. We’re not that talented and we can’t be in more than one place at one time. Working as part of a team we’ll be able to have more fun, minister to more students and minister to different types of students.

Further, it is plain that youth leaders don’t grow on youth leader trees. Even if they did, they wouldn’t last long without any nurturing. Recruiting good leaders, pastorally caring for them and equipping them to minister to students is key to a healthy youth ministry.
